The drafting film is a product called Dura-Lene (manufactured by Seth Cole) which is a polyester-based archival material that is heat resistant and waterproof. I have used Prismacolor colored pencils and graphite on the drafting film and then secured to the wood support with acid-free double-sided tape. There is a small amount of sewing in the work with cotton thread as well.
